No
The gourmet site says that reservation is not possible.
Mouth watering rich creamy matcha drink and desert. Must try if you are in Ueno. Usually a queue but service is fast and efficient.
Went there again for our trip to Japan. I think it's a must go every time i go to Japan. Yummy!!! Be prepared to que though. In ueno is the main branch. However, they recently opened 1 in tokyo first avenue it self. Amazing. Usually there is a line. However, the service is fast. Unless the other customers lingers and taking their own sweet time.
Excelent variety of desserts, they even have an English menu. Perfect for people with a sweet tooth
Neat
For the lack of good lunch places in the area, I decided to have dessert instead. The food is amazing! I'll be happy to skip lunch for this dessert anytime!
All aspects of this dessert were delicious! After spending a couple weeks eating my way across the country, I remember this as the dish that was the best representation of Japanese desserts.
They offer complimentary matcha but if you are coming with two people you are Required to order for two. Minimum paycheck 100 Yen
Definitely worth a visit.Food: Delicious.Service: Standard fare.Ambience: Wasn't crowd at the time, nice and cozy.Price: Average.
There was a bit of a queue but this place is popular for a good reason. Amazing anmitsu!
Had the anmitsu with red bean icecream. It was exceptional! Strongly recommend!
Great dessert along the main road
Taste too sweet. Limited seat.
This is a wonderful place for desserts with plenty of choices and at a reasonable prices. I tried something that I don’t know the name of but I was like a creme caramel. The flavour was pretty good and the portion size reasonable. Also had some fresh fruit which was a nice ending to the meal. Staff are very friendly with reasonable English. Wheelchair accessible. Kid friendly. Well worth a try.
Delicious dessert place, would recommend matcha ice cream and chestnut dessert
A very traditional sweet shop. Staff wear kimono to serve you. Very friendly, you will love it.
Here is Japanese basicly sweets shop. Taste is Kyoto style; not stink. I recommend the “Ozoni“ (hot solty MOCHI soup) and “Shiratama Cream ANMITSU“ ( fruits and ice cream and ANKO = like photo ).
One of my favs in Tokyo. Not overly sweet. Aesthetically pleasing and insta-worthy. The desserts are great!
Matcha ice-cream with mochi and brown sugar paste really satisfied my palatable desire...
I ate seasonl japanese parfait in this shop. It's Christmas ver.
Okay dessert, nothing special but a bit expensive
Excellent taste for traditional desert and simple lunch.
Delicious traditional Japanese sweets
The dessert was tasty but unfortunately we had to order one dessert each which was too much for us! (We were a group of five).
For Japanese Sweet Lovers, Best to visit after sightseeing of Ueno area, such Zoo, Museums, etc... Must have CREAM MITSUMAME, KOORI ( summer ) .
Very japanese style sweets experience
The Best Japanese dessert I tried so far
Amazing Japanese desserts at a low price. They have a wide variety including matcha and houjicha ice cream, fruit, red bean paste, mochi and LOTS of agar jelly. Also shaved ice is available. If I lived in Ueno, I would maybe come here weekly. Friendly staff too! And the complimentary green tea is high quality too.
Easy 10 out of 10. The red beans taste very strong and fresh. The desserts especially the mochi are to die for. Literally.
Best Anmitsu in Tokyo. I recommend the one with mixed fruits and soft ice cream. Nice and quiet atmosphere, friendly staff. Usually a short wait.
Acceptable price, fresh fruit, chewy devil's tongue with tasty red beans.
Very good Japanese desserts and perfect service from staff. A must visit!
Love it!Worth to try and wait in a long line. English menu is available also there are another shop nearby.
Ultra tasty Anmitsu! I love the mix of different textures from the beans, mochi, ice cream, and yokan. The dish is overall pretty sweet so if you have a sweet tooth and are interested in trying a more tradition Japanese dessert. They have an English menu too and the staff are very lovely
A must try for everyone. The waiting line run fast, hang in there..!
Acceptable price and good for sweet lover! Good variety try seasonal menu!
Visited it twice during my Tokyo stay and the dessert was amazing specially red bean paste and fruit ice cream. The server was very police as per Japanese standard. A foreigner like me who knew basic Japanese didn't face any problem in enjoying the food and service to the fullest. Environment is perfect. It also allows takeaway. A must visit for anyone who came to ueno area as its also close to ueno major metro stations.Came back again in Jan 2019 and the ice cream was still great.
Amazing green tea ice cream. No English menu but there is a menu with pictures. Lots of old Japanese women spending a delightful afternoon with green tea and sweets.
Great tasting Japanese desserts. came here twice during my trip. highly recommended to come in the morning, then you wouldn't need to queue at all.
I am not big fan of Japanese sweets although I am Japanese. And I never liked Anmitsu because it is too sweet for me.However, this Anmitsu at Mihashi changed my world of Anmitsu.Their taste and sweetness is well balanced and so delicate. Also, you can feel the history in the restaurant. Please visit and try their Anmitsu especially if you are unfamiliar to Japanese sweets or do not like them as I used to. They will change your opinion!
Too sweet for me... No special as well
